We’ve teamed up with Visions of Science Network for Learning Inc. to deliver a Sport & STEM program for students in grade 7 & 8.
Everything we do at MLSE LaunchPad is grounded in a solid foundation of internal and external research. Our highly qualified research team leads innovative Sport for Development research projects to generate learnings that will support youth to thrive inside and outside of our building.
Direct Youth participation
MLSE LaunchPad members regularly share input through short, user-friendly questionnaires designed specifically for them. Youth and parents also meet with research staff in focus groups, where they share their insights on a range of topics from registration processes to the design of new program curriculum
Research Partner Collaboration
We’re also collaborating with academic research partners at institutions to increase the quality, rigor, and reach of our research. Direct youth input informs decision-making and quality improvement every day.

Use fundamental soccer skills to understand the complexity of ecosystems and the impact of biotic and abiotic factors on the success of an ecosystem.

Use fundamental basketball skills to understand the importance of design thinking in the engineering process.
